Bashar al-Assad Should be Tried for War Crimes

Bashar al-Assad, like his father Hafez before him, is a mass murderer and needs to be toppled and tried in the Hague for war crimes and crimes against humanity. The Guardian of the UK last month brought out an exclusive feature documenting industrial scale killing of detainees by the Syrian regime.

  In his first major foreign-policy speech as U.S. president, Joe Biden declared to the world that America was back. The international sigh of relief was almost audible amid hopes that former President Donald Trump’s disruptive style was a relic.
